How does the system work best for my skin?

The increase in temperature and blood flow to the skin, makes during exercise the ideal time to get the most from your skin care. Products which just sit on top of the skin do nothing to promote deep skin fitness. The WORKOUT®sfs range is uniquely designed to help penetrate to the deeper layers to reduce photoaging and to deeply hydrate and care for your skin 

By minimizing but not stopping sweat loss during exercise skin, hydration is enhanced. Natural clays promote the vital absorption of well constructed moisturizers, AHAs and pro-Vitamin A so that you develop improved skin fitness and so you look as good you feel.

But isn't it important to sweat and don't we lose toxins in sweat?

Sweat lost during exercise is over 99.5% water- this is so the body can cope with increased heat. By reducing but not stopping sweating on your face during exercise, the WORKOUT system uses natural body heat to help the penetration of moisturisers and to control the enemy of the skin-dehydration! The remaining 0.5% of sweat consists of body salts and minerals and are not 'toxins', but are natural products of your own body's processes.

Why does the GYM Facial feel dry when I put it on?

The GYM Facial is a unique new type of skin care. It contains natural clays and minerals which feel dry at first. Your skin will then work with the GYM Facial and as skin goes through its natural response to exercise you have a FACIAL while you work out. It can also be used with good results in Saunas! Your skin looks and feels soft, hydrated and smooth.

How many times a week am I supposed to use it?

The WORKOUT system has been designed to be used during your regular workouts-used twice to three times a week, a system will last about three months!

What's with the minimal packaging?

At WORKOUT we believe in leaving the smallest environmental foot print on our planet. All our products are made in New Zealand. Our packaging is light weight and recyclable at the curbside. We don't believe in paying hefty fuel costs to lug heavy glass containers around the country side. We don't use expensive packaging to make our products look as though you are getting more than you are. We don't add packaging that is thrown in the bin as soon as you get home.

The WORKOUT skin fitness system used 2 to 3 times a week should last you 4-5 months.

I already have a skin care system which I really like. Can I use the WORKOUT system as well?

WORKOUT is a totally new and unique model of skin care which is designed for use DURING exercise. There is nothing else on the market which works in the same way. WORKOUT is TOTALLY compatible with all other skin care products. The Jojoba Preparatory Cleanser and the Rebalancing Cream spf 30 can of course be used at any time. Both products have had rave reviews!

I love going to my beauty therapist for my regular facials. Why should I use WORKOUT?

There is nothing like the wonderful relaxing feeling of a great facial from a trained beauty therapist for making you feel pampered, and well cared for. The WORKOUT system has been designed to prevent dehydration so you can maintain your skin health and fitness at a time when your skin is under oxidative stress from exercise. WORKOUT protects and boosts your skin hydration between facials from your beauty therapist.

Has the WORKOUT range been tested on animals?

DEFINITELY NOT! 

I am over 60, can I still use WORKOUT?

As we age, our skin loses sweat glands and is more easily damaged by the sun, environmental toxins and by dehyration. The WORKOUT system has been designed for women aged between 25 and 55 and may a bit drying for use on older skin. You can still use our gorgeous gentle jojoba Preparatory Cleanser and the rich Rebalancing Lotion with SPF 30. But don't worry, we are aware of the needs of ALL women and our range is being developed so there will be a product suitable for use for every woman's exercise and fitness needs. Watch this space!

Can men use the WORKOUT skin fitness system?

Of course they can....... because Men Can Do Anything! We are developing a men's range and it should be ready soon! Watch this space.

I am glad you asked! In September 2007 we will be launching our unique Body Wash for use by both men and women after your workouts. Priced at $15.80 this luxurious bodywash will provide a new dimension to skin care and will make a great Christmas present for the fit or those with New Years Resolutions to get fit for the New Year.
